Telehealth Medicare subsidies extended until at least June 30
The Federal Government recently announced that Medicare subsidies for Telehealth will be extended until at least June 30. What does this mean for patients of DFMC?
- Telehealth consultations will incur the same fee as if they attended the clinic.
- Patients having Telehealth consultations can claim the Medicare rebate.
- Pension card holders and children under 12 will be bulk billed.
- Health Care Card holders will be charged a discounted fee.
