Lollipops Catch Herring        Dr. Darryn Rennie The lollipop Chupa Chups are great for catching herring particularly in the Australind Estuary. Ask a child to lick the lollipop then give the white stick a wash. Pass a piece of stainless steel wire through the stick and tie on a treble hook. The result is a home made lure.                         I troll with the lure about 20m behind a dingy in the Estuary.  Herring and Tailor go for this lure. Fried fresh herring fillets are great for your health.
